After being suspended halfway in 2021, IPL comes home with another season from March 26 to offer endless entertainment to cricket fans worldwide. Ten teams will fight for more than two months in 70 league matches for the coveted title. Cricket fans in Australia can watch Tata IPL 2022 live on YuppTV and catch their favorite stars in action.
Mumbai's Wankhede, Brabourne, DY Patil, and MCA Stadium in Pune will host the league matches. The IPL Governing Council and Maharashtra government decided to allow 25% of the crowd on these grounds. After two years, IPL will witness the crowd cheering for their favorite teams. While the entire 2020 edition was moved to the UAE, the IPL governing council conducted the 2021 season in India but was forced to shift to the UAE half the way due to a surge in the Covid cases. Although the second half of the 2021 season was conducted in 50% attendance, the home vibe was a major missing in the UAE. With fans returning to watch the marquee event, it appears that things are back to normalcy.
