The Republic of Turkey Electronic Visa (e-Visa) is the official digital travel authorization issued by the Government of Turkey for short-term visits. Foreign nationals may obtain their Turkey e-Visa exclusively through the Turkish Immigration Portal or authorized e-service providers. This streamlined online process eliminates the need for embassy visits while maintaining strict security standards in accordance with Turkish immigration laws.

The Turkish e-Visa system permits tourism, business meetings, and transit stays for eligible passport holders. Approved applicants may enter Turkey for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. It remains the traveler's responsibility to ensure their e-Visa for Turkey remains valid for the entire duration of stay, as overstays are subject to fines and potential entry bans.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the Turkey e-Visa cannot be extended or converted to other visa types within the country. All visitors must present their approved electronic visa alongside a passport valid for at least six months upon arrival.
