STAMFORD — The moment he walked off the commuter train early Tuesday evening, a New York City banker who lives in Stamford was charged with strangling his girlfriend, police said. Raguragavan Sreetharan, 31, of Kane Avenue, was charged with attempted first-degree strangulation, second-degree strangulation, unlawful restraint and second-degree assault. He was released after posting a $50,000 court-appearance bond.
