Intra-Abdominal Pressure Measurement Devices Help Detect the Risk of Abdominal Compartment Syndrome

Intra-abdominal pressure measurement devices are used to detect the risk of ACS and IAH. Intra-abdominal pressure is defined as the pressure in the abdominal cavity that results from the relationship between the abdominal wall and the viscera, and is usually measured via a urinary catheter. Devices used for the measurement of intra-abdominal pressure are termed as intra-abdominal pressure measurement devices.
