Decimals are numbers where a number has two parts integral part and fraction part; both parts are separated by a Point known as decimal separator or period. The terminating Decimals are decimal number whose fractional part or the number on the right side of the decimal separator are finite. So Terminating Decimal number is a number whose fractional part ends after the certain value it does not go on. If a question is being asked that what is a terminating decimal then it can be answered as a decimal part which has a finite ending as the word “terminate” means end.
