Fractions show the number of pieces of any object and can be represented in Decimal form too:There are three types of Fractions in Algebra;
1. Proper Fraction –Where numerator is smaller than Denominator.
2. Improper Fraction-Where Numerator is greater than Denominator.
3. Mixed Fraction.
Mixed Numbers are Combination of a Whole Number and a proper fraction Combination. Operation of mixed numbers is same as of Fraction numbers. Mixed fractions are easy to handle in daily life but we use improper fractions more in mathematics than mixed fractions.
In a mixed number a b/c there are three Components;
Here ‘a’ is a Whole number.
